Brainstorming

When designing the pear shape bottle, it originally didn't have the "Parfum De Poire" on the front of it. As you can see the sketches of the bottle are very simplistic. Granted we did want more of a simple design for the bottle as we wanted it to give a more modern, clean look. The sketches of the cap were ever simple when brainstorming, but as time went on we wanted the bottle to really resemble a real pear. We decided to add a leaf so it showed more of a realistic look to the bottle. The body of the bottle was very similar to the final product, the only difference is, as mentioned above, the embossed naming of the fragrance scent. There was also a rough sketch of the nozzle that was put on the top of the bottle. Having these dimensions allowed us to see how big the cap needed to big as well as the threading of the bottle so that the nozzle can be screwed on good.
