Branding
Verde Essence Co. is rooted from nature's quiet elegance, crafted to evoke a sense of fresh clarity and effortless clam in every interaction. Guided by a pallet of chartreuse, bone, different shades of green, the identity of this brand resembles clean, modern experience that mirrors the vision of soft linens, sunlight, clear water, and pear orchards. These colors work together to create a warm, refreshing fragrance that welcomes the aromatic feel of cleanliness. The pear logo and refined typography reinforce the idea of representing both purity and natural abundance. Verde Essence Co. is dedicated to capturing gentle, fruity aroma, and modern simplicity that defines our product, leaving a long lasting impression. The mood board (left) and branding guide (right) for our brand is pictured below. The colors used were pulled directly from the mood board in hopes they align together. As you can see two different types of fonts were use. The names of the fonts were "Abigail Nagita", which was used for the display font, and "Aaargh Normal", which was used for the test font. All of the logos, as well as used in the name, used the same outline of the pear, which you can clearly see in the company tagline. This was created with the bottle shape in mind because our signature fragrance is shaped like a pear. In the abbreviated logo we incorporated our saying which is "The Essence of Natures Clam" because we heavily express our product as being a clam, refreshing scent. Our goal when creating the design for our product we were inspired by modern and simplistic designs that we have seen in the beauty/hygiene industry.
Design
When designing the graphics for the package, the mood board and the branding guide were used. The Artios CAD fie line file that was previously updated to have the cutout present is then loaded back into Adobe Illustrator and ESKO studio was then pulled up so that we could see what the graphics would look like once the box was all folded up. Once the die line was loaded into Illustrator, all of the graphics were embedded and placed. The front of the box includes the cut out, name of the perfume, and the amount of fluid ounces the bottle contains. The right side lists out all of the ingredients present in the perfume liquid and has our company tagline logo. On the back side of the box we like to leave a note for our customers explaining what the scent means to us. We also put the barcode on the back so it will be easy to scan, as well as our main logo with our signature saying. When you look at the top of the box we put our companies name so that you know what brand this fragrance is from. To capture that nature feel of this product we outlined a leaf vine and wrapped it around the box to give it more character. The red and black outlined lines allows the machine, that will then print it out, to understand what to cut (black) or crease (red). Once this was done we exported as a output 3D pdf file that was in Designer Quality Mode.
